At the 2024 edition of Making Vinyl, Ryan presented findings from the first analysis of the carbon footprint of a vinyl record. (You can read the report in full here: https://lnkd.in/eug4NmcR). The Vinyl Record Manufacturers Association has expanded the scope of its continuing study this year to analyze non-PVC compounds, including various "bio-vinyl" options now entering the market.
