II. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Governance
Contribute to the development and execution of the VRMA Group’s strategic plan.
Ensure the association operates within its mission, vision, and core values.
Provide guidance on industry-related policies, sustainability initiatives, and market trends.
Uphold ethical standards and transparency in decision-making.
2. Advocacy & Industry Representation
Serve as an ambassador for the VRMA Group and advocate for the interests of the vinyl record manufacturing industry.
Support public relations and marketing efforts to elevate the association’s profile.
Engage with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to promote industry growth and sustainability.
3. Membership Engagement & Growth
Assist in recruiting and retaining members by demonstrating the association’s value.
Support initiatives that foster collaboration between industry members, suppliers, and partners.
Actively participate in networking events, conferences, and trade shows to promote VRMA.
4. Financial Oversight & Fundraising
Provide input on budgeting and financial planning to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Support fundraising efforts, including sponsorship and grant opportunities.
Oversee the allocation of resources to ensure the association's financial health.
5. Event Planning & Participation
Help organize and participate in key VRMA Group events, including conferences, webinars, and working group meetings.

Assist in securing speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors for events.
6. Working Groups & Committees
Serve on at least one VRMA working group (e.g., Sustainability, Counterfeiting, Supply Chain).
Participate in committee meetings and contribute expertise to advancing industry initiatives.
Assist in the development of reports, guidelines, and best practices for the industry.
7. Decision-Making & Voting
Attend board meetings (virtual and in-person) and actively participate in discussions.
Vote on key issues, policies, and initiatives affecting the VRMA and its members.
Provide input on industry challenges and opportunities.
8. Ethical & Professional Conduct
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive association matters.
Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential business relationships that may affect board decisions.

III. Time Commitment
Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual/in-person).
Dedicate 5-10 hours per month to board duties, committee meetings, and initiatives.

Must be a current VRMA Group member in good standing.

V. Application & Selection Process
Interested candidates must submit a written application detailing their experience, qualifications, and vision for the VRMA to Dustin Blocker before April 01, 2025.
A selection committee will review applications and nominate candidates for election.
Elections will be conducted according to the VRMA Group bylaws, with board terms beginning immediately after selection.
